The invoice and the payment, in the same place
Your brands pay the Rails invoice by ACH or card, straight from the invoice itself. No emailed PDF, no separate portal, no waiting on a check cut three weeks after you asked.
Most 3PLs do the hard part, building an accurate invoice, and then hand collections over to email.
How it works
The invoice goes out with a pay button
The same invoice Rails already built, now with a way to act on it.
Your brand pays, or the wallet draws down
ACH or card, one-off or on autopay, or they pre-fund a wallet and charges draw against it as they happen.
Cash reconciles itself
The payment posts against the exact line items it covers and syncs to QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books. Nothing to match by hand.
Get paid before the work, not ninety days after
Brands fund a wallet and charges draw against it as they’re incurred. It’s how metered infrastructure has billed for a decade, and for a high-frequency fulfillment relationship it removes the collections cycle rather than speeding it up.
- Auto top-up at a threshold you and the brand agree on
- They see the balance draw down against real line items, in real time
- Works alongside standard net terms: offer it to the accounts where it fits
Terms per brand, enforced without a phone call
Set the terms once and Rails runs them. The awkward follow-up email stops being a person’s job.
- Autopay on cycle close for the brands who’ve agreed to it
- Automatic reminders before and after the due date
- Late fees applied by rule, per the contract you signed
No more matching deposits to invoices
When the payment happens inside the system that produced the invoice, reconciliation isn’t a task; it’s already done. Partial payments and short-pays are attributed to the specific lines in dispute, so the rest of the invoice still closes, and the whole picture flows through to your books.
- Every payment posts against the line items it covers, then syncs to QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books
- Short-pays isolate the disputed lines instead of holding up the whole invoice
- AR aging that reflects what’s actually outstanding today
“Cash was literally being held captive by our inability to invoice quickly. Rails unlocked that, and now we can invest in parts of the business we couldn't touch before.”
